  • Head of E-Commerce – Shape the Future of Qantas Loyalty’s Retail & E-Commerce Strategy
  • Permanent role based at our Head Office in Mascot.

In this senior leadership role, you will oversee Qantas Loyalty’s E-Commerce strategy, driving engagement, commercial growth, and operational excellence. Reporting to the Executive Manager Retail & QBR, you will be responsible for refining and optimizing the future direction of our e-commerce platforms, enhancing customer interactions, and leading business growth initiatives. Bringing exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills, you will work across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver and implement a futuristic strategy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of Qantas Loyalty’s E-Commerce initiatives, ensuring strong commercial outcomes.
  • Manage end-to-end e-commerce operations with a focus on efficiency and P&L performance.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance member engagement and deliver value through an evolving retail portfolio.
  • Drive operational improvements and streamline processes to enhance customer experience.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve alignment on business objectives.
  • Provide strategic leadership in business development, partnerships, and negotiations to expand retail offerings.
  • Guide team development, ensuring high performance and effective collaboration.

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

  • Minimum 10 years of senior e-commerce leadership, P&L management, and retail/FMCG category expertise.
  • Experience managing competing priorities and working in a dynamic commercial environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in e-commerce, retail operations, or FMCG, ideally with liquor category experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence at a senior level, including engagement with executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to drive strategic outcomes.
