Network Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group, providing high-capacity air charter and regular passenger transport services. We operate a fleet of aircraft from our base at Perth Airport and we specialise in mining industry support, regional airline services, routine and emergency freight and corporate charter flying. 

As the Trainer - Engineering Support, you will co-ordinate, monitor and conduct relevant training for all the Maintenance/Support staff within Network Turbine Solutions (NTS) in accordance with regulatory and company procedures and policies. Reporting to the AMO Support Services Manager, this position provides regular updates regarding training non-compliance, ensures that the training material reflects best practice, and is up to date for deliverance to all aspects of NTS, including outstations.

To be successful in this role, ideally you’ll have:

  • At least 2-3 years in the Aviation industry
  • Experience in delivering and coordinating training programs within a highly regulated service environment 
  • Experience delivering face-to-face instructional training and/or upskilling
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training (or related discipline) – advantageous but not required
  • AME or LAME on aircraft type operated by Network Aviation - desirable
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Must be able to obtain an ASIC
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and obtain relevant ADA
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel/MS PowerPoint and Microsoft Power BI specifically)
  • Excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Decisive with the ability to analyse/resolve problems, considering planning data and procedural requirements
