Qantas is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager - India to drive revenue growth and maximise profitability in this key market. In this role, you will lead the India sales team to achieve ambitious revenue targets while strengthening relationships with clients across all channels. You will be responsible for ensuring that trade partners and corporate clients stay informed about the latest Qantas products, services, and initiatives. Collaborating closely with regional and head office teams, you will seamlessly integrate global sales strategies with local market priorities, ensuring alignment with Qantas' broader commercial objectives.

In addition to sales leadership, you will oversee the reservations team, ensuring that Qantas' renowned customer service standards are consistently met. Your ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team, coupled with strong stakeholder management skills, will be critical to success in this role. You’ll have –

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a sales role in aviation industry
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue targets and market growth.
  • Excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate Qantas' value proposition to clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation skills to drive successful commercial agreements and partnerships.
  • Effective team management capabilities to inspire, develop, and lead a motivated sales and reservations team.
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders across all levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain long-term relationships with trade partners and corporate clients.
  • Ability to collaborate with regional and head office teams to align global sales strategies with local market needs.
  • High level of business acumen to identify growth opportunities and optimise revenue potential.
  • Strategic mindset with a results-driven approach to enhance Qantas' market presence and profitability
