Part of the Workforce Planning team, the Resource Analyst will be responsible for developing and coordinating long-term forecasting strategies, ensuring that crew resource plans align with the business objectives for Cabin Crew. The role involves analysing data, preparing detailed reports, and reviewing operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement and optimise resource deployment. This position includes managing resourcing costs, ensuring compliance with relevant awards, agreements and policies, and supporting business and union negotiations through scenario modelling and analysis. Additionally, the role will manage and coach staff involved in crew resource planning, maintaining a strong focus on corporate standards and compliance with group management systems.

You’ll have: -

  • Background in Data Analytics with a strong understanding of workforce planning fundamentals
  • Highly developed analytic, strategic, lateral thinking and problem solving skills
  • Advanced numeracy skills – ability to analyse, interpret and present numerical data for business insight
  • Proven ability to identify issues, develop strategic options, facilitate or make decisions and plan action
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated capability and commitment to improve roster efficiency and utilisation within a complex organisation
  • Advanced user of Power BI and the full MS Office including excel and other cloud services
