QantasLink is seeking a strategic and experienced leader to join our Cabin Crew Operations team as the Regional Manager, Cabin Crew. This critical role is responsible for the overall strategy, development, and performance of Cabin Crew teams across National Jet Systems, Eastern Australian Airlines, and Sunstate Airlines. You will lead a team of Cabin Crew Managers across four Enterprise Agreements and three employment entities, driving operational excellence, boosting engagement, and fostering a culture of safety and service.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and develop Cabin Crew Managers to drive performance across safety, service, and operational KPIs 
  • Oversee day-of operations, crew resources, and transformation initiatives, while ensuring compliance with CASA regulations 
  • Champion a culture of safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement 
  • Manage escalations related to rostering, service disruptions, compliance, and customer complaints 
  • Translate strategic goals into actionable plans for your region 
  • Drive engagement and recognition strategies aligned with Qantas Group values. 
  • Participate in a rotational 24x7 on-call roster and support critical incident management 
  • Contribute to the development of leadership capability in direct reports to achieve business objectives. 
  • Champion safety leadership and contribute to Cabin Crew safety strategies 

You’ll have: 

  • 7+ years’ experience in an aviation industry leadership role 
  • Proven leadership experience in a large-scale, safety-first, and complex operational environment 
  • Strong customer focus and passion for delivering exceptional in-flight service 
  • Demonstrated success in building and coaching leaders and crew, fostering accountability and continuous improvement 
  • Strong analytical and planning capabilities with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset 
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills 
  • Experience managing within a customer-centric, service delivery environment 
  • Proven understanding of business strategy, change management, complex IR relations, and regulatory frameworks 
  • Experience leading transformation initiatives and driving change to meet strategic outcomes 
  • Hands-on leadership style with a desire to influence and shape regional performance
