The Principal Analyst, Network Strategy is responsible for developing analyses and insights into structural network changes across the entire Qantas Airways network. The role will support the Network Planning and Scheduling Teams in special projects including market and fleet strategies to optimise network profitability and other business areas with commercial analysis and activity statistics.   

You’ll have –

  • Tertiary qualifications in economics, mathematics, business, IT, engineering, or aviation
  • Proven experience in Network Planning, Airline Operations, or Revenue Management, including leading major restructuring projects.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to source, interpret, and draw insights from complex data sets.
  • Solid understanding of airline economics and cost drivers, paired with strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Sabre Air Vision tools, especially Sabre Profit Manager.
  • Highly detail-oriented and accurate, with superior time management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex and ambiguous environments, handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Skilled in the use of IT and optimization systems, including QSI/Logit-driven tools, to enhance decision-making and performance analysis.
