As the Manager ROC Operations, you will be responsible for the day to day running of QantasLink’s Regional Operations Centre and its compliance with both company and regulatory requirements. With operational and commercial oversight of all QantasLink branded operations, the ROC Operations Manager leads a team of highly skilled operations, crewing and load control staff to ensure the airline’s schedule integrity is maintained and that any disruptions are effectively managed in a customer centric manner.

Collaborating with all levels within the business, the Manager ROC operations is the single point of escalation and the key decision maker for issues within the operational window. The Manager ROC Operations also forms part of the Operations Delivery Leadership Team contributing to and developing team culture, innovation and continuous improvement.

You’ll have –

  • Previous experience within an Operational Control Centre or a similar role
  • An in depth understanding of our customers and the regional markets in which we operate
  • Previous experience in leading teams and contributing to employee development in a matrix framework
  • Strong customer orientation with an ability to build strong, constructive and effective working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Results orientated and ability to drive improvements in OTP, Customer Satisfaction and NPS
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks to meet strict deadlines
  • Proven record of successfully managing change and implementing continuous improvement activities
  • Demonstrated understanding of decision consequences and impacts
  • An understanding of business finance in cost/benefit context
  • Sound influencing, conflict resolution, and crisis management skills
