As the Manager, Commercial Performance (Personalisation and Experimentation) you will be responsible for managing and evaluating the proposed and ongoing benefit of personalisation and Experimentation within Qantas Loyalty. This role plays a pivotal role within the new Personalisation and Experimentation (P&E) team to deliver the expected benefits of the Loyalty 2030 stretch targets. This role is responsible for assessing, identifying and prioritising business opportunities, supporting the Senior Manager, Personalisation and Strategic Growth on the business strategy, performance measurement, strategic growth initiatives and member experience optimisations.

You will work closely and strategically with all of Loyalty’s commercial stakeholders across Financial Services, Retail and B2C to oversee the benefits driven by P&E. You will have advanced commercial modelling skills, strong understanding of loyalty revenue levers to implement strategic decision making to support the delivery of the Personalisation and Experimentation strategy, in addition to driving positive outcomes across Loyalty and Qantas airlines. This role involves managing various business stakeholders and communication effectively at an executive level.

Core to this commercial leadership role is partnering with external partners to drive commercial thought leadership in the development of business strategies, lead opportunity development and support initiative delivery, which are critical to achieving Personalisation and Experimentation OKRs and business objectives.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 7+ years’ experience in a commercially focused role (Finance, Commercial, Analytics)
  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline (Commerce, Business, Finance)
    CFA/CPA/equivalent qualification
  • Advanced commercial modelling skills
  • A structured and lateral thinking style with the capability to quickly understand and
    apply new concepts
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the
    ability to effectively liaise with Qantas management, and senior executives of external
    partners.
  • Ability to read and interpret commercial contracts.
  • Ability to administer numerous projects simultaneously and an ability to work to tight
    deadlines
