As the Manager, Channel Optimisation & Experimentation, you will be responsible for leading and managing the optimisations of the Loyalty Marketing Channel Platform to drive commercial and customer benefits to assist in increasing marketing incremental revenue. You will oversee incorporating business requirements, system enhancements, measurement capabilities and experimentation to increase marketing channel performance.
You will be accountable for ensuring that new measurement approaches are investigated and applied, where experiments are undertaken to validate algorithmic enhancements for additional value-creation, particularly in relation to new capability that is being delivered as part of the Personalisation and Experimentation team. You will have ownership of the change management process and the education of these experimentation enhancements to stakeholders.
The Manager, Channel Optimisation & Experimentation will collaborate, co-ordinate and influence several teams and will be required to own the reporting and measurement roadmap to provide a vision for current and future enhancements to the Leadership and broader team. A deep understanding of sophisticated, market-leading digital measurement tools and processes will be required to continuously enhance and evolve the system to remain current with a rapidly changing digital landscape.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor of Actuarial studies; Applied Finance; Accounting; Data Science (or equivalent) MBA or Masters in related areas (desirable)
- 7+ years of experience in optimisation, data personalisation/digital roles
- High degree of knowledge in Statistical frameworks
- Previous experience in turning raw data into actionable, value-adding insights and
- recommendations, with a proven track record of success
- Strong commercial acumen - with previous experience in making strategic
- recommendations for business improvement
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to overlay commercial
- acumen to develop insights and recommendations
- Extensive experience in extracting and manipulating large volume data with SQL,
- with direct experience with Teradata platform preferred
- High level of computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Prior experience in using Tableau desired
- Proven ability to communicate insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- in a clear and concise manner, both in verbal and written formats
- Strong capability of managing and prioritising a number of competing tasks for
- different stakeholders
- Commitment, professionalism, respect and a ‘can-do’ attitude in any situation
- A background in the airline industry or other loyalty businesses is not necessary, but
- a strong interest in the industry and a desire to learn more would be highly desirable
