Job Description

Network Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group, providing high-capacity air charter and regular passenger transport services. We operate a fleet of jet aircraft from our base at Perth Airport. We specialise in mining industry support, regional airline services, routine and emergency freight and corporate charter flying.

As Fleet Manager Airbus, you will lead a high-performing team within our Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) focused on ensuring our A319 and A320 Airbus Fleet remains safe, compliant, and ready for service. This strategic role oversees the continuing aircraft airworthiness and safe operation of the Airbus Fleet for the NAA Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO), working closely with key stakeholders to ensure effective asset management plans are embedded including: an Approved Maintenance Program, Reliability Program, modification program, all in alignment with the airline’s strategy, operational and network requirements. You will be responsible for Airbus Fleet Configuration Control, ICA review and approval, Service Literature assessments, Airworthiness Directive Management, Planning/Records Management and Airworthiness reviews whilst ensuring your team provides exceptional customer service across NAA through a strong focus on safety, leadership, and operational excellence. This includes fostering a positive team culture that encourages best practice and initiative, developing career pathways and succession plans, and driving continuous improvement in engineering operations.

You’ll have –

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the aviation industry preferably working with Airbus aircraft.
  • An in-depth knowledge across one or more broad fields of Aviation engineering sufficient to meet the requirements of a CASA Responsible Manager.
  • Strong written and oral interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven leadership in maintenance planning or continuing airworthiness within aviation.
  • Strong understanding of CASA Part 42 regulatory compliance requirements.
  • The ability to engage with service providers on wide ranging asset management issues and resolutions of significant issues.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to influence and drive results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for safety, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Degree in business, engineering or an aviation related field is desirable
