Reporting to the Head of Marketing Capability, the Senior Manager Marketing (Personalisation & Experimentation) is responsible for the performance and efficiency of the Marketing pillar within the Personalisation & Experimentation (P&E) function.  P&E is a cross functional, agile team responsible for the definition, creation and implementation of evolved capability leveraging the power of data-driven personalisation and optimisation of communications and experiences through ongoing experimentation for Qantas Group. 

This senior and influential role will help define the strategic vision for personalisation and experimentation programs across Qantas’ varying products and service offerings. This role requires a deep understanding of the marketing mix and personalisation landscape as well as intimate knowledge of the specific needs of Marketing functions across Qantas and Qantas Loyalty. 

You will be responsible for the prioritisation, delivery and implementation of a capability roadmap that ensures the evolving needs of the Marketing is met. Advanced stakeholder influence skills will be required to overcome challenges and deliver incremental Marketing capability through close collaboration with other senior leaders across Data & Analytics, Technology and Digital Product teams.

You will also be responsible for strategy and performance-driving solutions, and our ideal candidate will have a proven record of leading fast-paced Martech and communications programs.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 7+ years in Marketing within diverse digital industries and recent experience in leading agile squads in delivering marketing capability
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Commerce or related field
  • Deep understanding of all aspects of Marketing.  Expert in push and pull marketing strategies. 
  • Team leadership experience
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, communication, problem solving and time management skills. 
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks & meet deadlines. 
  • Creative thinker who takes ownership of, and personal accountability for decisions and actions.
