Adviser Corporate Communications

The Corporate Communications Adviser is responsible for supporting internal communications requirements for business segments across the Qantas Group. Working in the Qantas Group Corporate Affairs team, you will be supporting the Manager, Internal Communications to drive internal communications and engagement across our Flight Operations team. You will play a key role in developing and implementing communication strategies that keep employees informed and engaged and aligned with Qantas’ strategy and values.

This position will be required to work closely with the broader business and develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders to provide advice, ensure consistent messaging and effective coordination and monitoring of campaigns and events. 

You’ll have:

• Tertiary education in communications or other relevant discipline
• 3-5 years’ experience working in internal communications within large, complex organisations 
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing internal communication campaigns
• An ability to prepare communications material for a wide range of audiences and purposes
• Experience supporting the delivery of employee events like Town Halls and webinars would be highly desired
• Strong written and oral communication skills  
• The ability to take on projects and deliver to deadline
• Confidence and experience working with staff at all levels of an organisation
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Great attention to detail
• A collaborative, can-do approach
