As a Senior Agile Business Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying and defining product enhancements to improve the member experience on our E-Commerce platforms, Qantas Marketplace and Qantas Wine. You will transform customer and business challenges into effective solutions while leading requirements gathering and validation workshops.

In this role, you will support the Senior Product Manager in ensuring the smooth delivery of initiatives while serving as the primary point of contact for the delivery team. Collaborating with the squad tech lead, you will be responsible for writing detailed user stories with acceptance criteria and leading grooming and planning sessions.

You’ll have: 

  • Typically 8+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role, with a focus on digital projects and products. Previous experience in E-Commerce/Retail would be highly regarded, but not essential.
  • Demonstrable experience in the full project lifecycle (from conception to launch and post-launch analysis).
  • Experience in analysing and optimising websites (desktop and mobile), mobile apps, or other digital platforms.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and how they relate to business goals.
  • Proficiency in using data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau) to communicate findings effectively.
  • Support the Product Manager to translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively gather requirements from your scrum team and stakeholders.
  • Ability to facilitate workshops, lead discussions, and present findings to diverse audiences.
  • Worked in an agile development environment

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality results
